Drug Prevention and Wellness Fun Fair
For 24 years the fair has presented a venue where dialog can be enhanced among family members concerning the needs to have our youth engage in positive activities and make healthy lifestyle choices. Drug prevention messages are presented through the use of carnival type games in a fun, non-threatening environment.
To date approximately 138,000 have attended the fair!
Miss Illinois Character Counts Program
Since 1991, the reigning Miss Illinois has visited elementary schools to present the Six Pillars of Character Counts [Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship]
Approximately 4,800 students have been impacted by the program
Student Leadership Conference
This annual conference started in 1996. Each year students representing area middle and high school attend the conference. The primary goal is to help our your learn effective strategies in leadership and then return to their school, community, and church to make a positive difference.
Approximately 77,000 students have learned leadership skills since 1996
Pray for the children… Drug-Free, Safe and Healthy
The annual prayer event asks people of ALL FAITHS to raise their children up in prayer, praying that our children will be drug-free, safe from all forms of violence, and embrace God when making decisions that will impact their future.
It also encourages people to pray for those affected by abuse where as a family or individual.
